Took my dog in for a limp. Explained I believed one leg was sore - completely ignored my concerns. Found out that the other leg was sore. I still asked for my concerned leg to be X-rayd. That was ignored and was not. Was given the only option to be surgery. Opted out of surgery via phone and was treated rudely by a staff member. I seconded guessed this and ended up at sash. Turns out both legs had the same injury (Xrayed both which should have been done in the first place!) was treated without surgery. Extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed with my dogs treatment today. She went for a simple spay at 9am. She had been fasting since 6:30pm the night before as per vets request that nothing was ingested after 7pm. She was at the vet clinic in a cage all day until she finally went into theatre at 6pm! Nine hours she spent waiting, and she is a very active puppy. At this point she had had no water or food for over 24hrs.

I picked her up at 8:15pm (they didn’t even give her a chance to sleep off the anaesthetic fully) and she is skin and bone! Her collar falls off her now and her ribs are sticking out. I don’t expect her to be all “sunshine and rainbows” after a surgery but she is very worse for wear and looks traumatised.

There was no communication about the progress until I called them and they answered after about 6 minutes and three phone calls.

We will NOT be back, I would rather drive to homebush for emergencies in the future - which is a 40 minute drive!

I will give credit to the nurse who handed her back to me. She was lovely and sympathetic for us.

On the eve of my gorgeous cat's death, I needed to officially review this vet practice. If I could give them 0, I certainly would

We took our gorgeous cat here for many years. In his time of need, the sole vet and (some) of the nurses were not there for him, and I'm still outraged at the lack of care and empathy given.

After an initial diagnosis, we asked the vet to conduct more tests before giving medication. The vet declined with an 'I know everything' mentality. After 3 days of medication, his health deteriorated so badly that he lost his eyesight and developed some mental issues. We rushed him back several times (on one occasion, my dad had to desperately get the attention of one of the nurses as he was dying in his arms and they showed no urgency and treated him as 'just another animal'. We were seeking desperate assistance but found that the vet and nurses at a loss (not very comforting when we initially asked for more tests to be conducted).

From the moment we took our gorgeous cat to the vet until the moment he died, it was about 2 weeks. We asked to go in and speak to the vet to determine what happened after the fact, but the vet returned an 'I'm too busy, I'm over worked' response. While I understand being overworked and tired, my cat died in their arms and their supposed care (or lack thereof). I must say that I'm still broken hearted over not getting any proper closure as to what happened and why more tests were not conducted. By the time we did book him into another vet, it was too late.

If your pet does get ill, I would recommend taking them elsewhere, where they do have resources and Vets to properly care for your beloved pet so that you can avoid what happened to us.
